Horreo de Carnota

Carnota is known for having one of the longest Horreos in Galicia. Walk there within 17 minutes from us towards Carnota’s town center.

Fervenza Do Ezaro

A 155 Meter high waterfall known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Spain.

Between June 21st and September 21st the waterfall is illuminated from 23:00 to 00:00h at night.

Near the parking you can rent kayaks in summer to explore river Xallas up to the waterfall.

Monte Pindo

Monte Pindo, the mountain that dominates the North side of Carnota is 627 meters high. It’s granite structures form unique boulders of a reddish colour and numerous small streams run down it’s flanks.

The mountain is also considered a mythological place, ceramic findings date back 6000 years.

The view from the top is breathtaking on a clear day, but the flora, fauna and rock-formations already make it worthwhile a hike.

Laxe Escrita

You can find some ancient petroglyphs not far from the town center of Carnota. Crosses, circles and boats have been carved into the granite dating back to the Bronce age.

Other petroglyphs are scattered around the crescent bay of Carnota too, some of whoch can be seen hiking the “senda Verde” trail.
